You all really must be masochists for more WWE content if you voted for this to win the poll. Anyway, this was bad.
Finisher trade matches can be a lot of fun. Brock Goldberg was just last year and that was an honest to god match of the year level match. To pull that off you need two larger than life stars who get people going for every big move. Roman is definitly not that and Brock is sometimes but was definitly not on this day.
The actual format of the match made no sense either. I have no issue with Roman losing, I don't really care about Roman, but the entire match felt like it was building for him to win. Even in winning Brock gave away five kickouts on his finisher that was almost always putting guys down in just one. Roman didn't get even a tad bit out of all the kickouts, it just fed into the fans preconceived notion that he's an unstoppable superman. In a better match Roman covered in blood yelling might have been the defining moment of his career. In this match it came off like a DDT parody of Stone Cold vs Bret.
Brock won with a sixth F5 after about 15 minutes. Brock looks worse than ever, Roman looks like a loser, and I look like an idiot for wasting brain space thinking this hard about this match.
No stars dud bad match whatever you want to call it.
